About Sram Force 22 Shifter Rear Right Hydraulic Disc Break
Description:
Force 22. READY FOR YOUR BEST. However you define yourself as a rider, SRAM Force 22 is ready to help you achieve your personal best, offering no compromise of quality, function and features. SRAM has completely redesigned SRAM Force and loaded it with all of the key innovations of SRAM RED, with no apologies for its fleet looks, ergonomics, efficiency, and lightweight design. Apart from the complete overhaul, SRAM Force also provides you twenty-two (CX1 eleven) usable gears, shifting speed and precision that can only be matched by SRAM RED, and a new sleek finish. The understated SRAM Force group is for rational people with an irrational passion for performance. It is SRAM's most exciting introduction for 2013, and SRAM designed it to be everything any rider at any level would ever require, and it's ready for your best.
Road and cyclocross braking has remained in the dark ages. Sure, they're shinier and lighter, but rudimentary. While frame and drive train development has been the stuff of modern space exploration, road braking has languished with the likes of horse shoes an buggy whips. Until now.
SRAM, long a leader in hydraulic braking technology with the Avid brand, has reset the vision for road bike braking for the coming decade. Not unlike every other high speed conveyance, SRAM brings hydraulic technology to road cycling for multiple applications. Disc or rim brake, SRAM will stop what you've propelled, faster and with better modulation. Go ahead and go in deep.
The SRAM Force 22 ErgoDynamics™ hydraulic shifter is bred from the DNA of SRAMs best-in-class SRAM RED, representing SRAM's most advanced thinking on perfecting the interface between cyclocross rider and bike.

What is Brake Lever ?
The brake lever transmits the force applied by the rider through either a mechanical or hydraulic mechanism. Bicycles with drop handlebars may have more than one brake lever for each brake to facilitate braking from multiple hand positions. Levers that allow the rider to work the brakes from the tops of the bars, introduced in the '70s, were called extension levers, safety levers.
About Sram Brand
SRAM was founded on a single product in 1987 and introduced the Grip Shift (or twist shift) shifter to the road bike market in 1988. In 1991 that technology was adapted for mountain bikes, and SRAM quickly grew. SRAM's story begins In early 1987 with founder Stan Day training for and racing in triathlons.
