A versatile and adjustable alloy stem for urban bikes.Built to offer a huge range of adjustments, the MERIDA EXPERT CT stem is perfect for cruising the city streets. Its innovative design guarantees the perfect fit and allows you the option to change your setup whenever you feel the need.

Made from light but tough aluminum, the EXPERT CT weighs just 259 g (110 mm) and is available in 90 mm and 110 mm lengths. Both versions have a 31.8 mm clamp diameter and fit 1 1/8"" steerers. The EXPERT CT can be easily adjusted to provide a range of angles from -30° to +40°. Like all of our stems, it's served in simple black-on-black colors to guarantee it'll match anything.

What is Aluminum 6061 material?

Aluminium alloy 6061 is a medium to high strength heat-treatable alloy with a strength higher than 6005A. It has very good corrosion resistance and very good weldability although reduced strength in the weld zone. It has medium fatigue strength.

About Merida Brand

MERIDA’s company founder Ike Tseng (1932–2012) was a very honour-able person and a real visionary. During a trip through the USA at the beginning of the 1970s, he discovered a note at the door of a bike shop stating that no bikes from Taiwan were accepted for repair due to bad quality. This annoyed Ike Tseng – and already shortly after, in September 1972, the first production plant of his company Merida Industry Co., Ltd. was opened in Yuanlin (Taiwan).
